Petrolatum Gauze is a primary dressing, impregnated with U.S.P grade petrolatum, used by hospitals and other health care facilities to dress various types of wounds. The comfortable, soothing hypoallergenic dressing clings and conforms to the wound without sticking. A single layer provides effective coverage to inhibit loss of body fluids and help protect the wound site from contamination of bacteria. A petrolatum gauze is used on a skin graft because the bandage is non-adherent. It is packaged in convenient peel-open, tamper proof packages. Latex free.
